Order of Events (Pre-tribulational Dispensational Premillennialism)

  • Pre-tribulation

      • Rapture: Believers who died and who currently are alive will be brought to heaven by Jesus.

          • Seal Judgments: war, famine, pestilence, beasts, persecution of believers, and natural disasters
          • The Antichrist will rule a world government, centered in Rome, by destroying the other 9 seats.
          • 144,000 Jewish Christians will preach about God.
          • rebuilding of God’s Temple on the site of the Islam Dome of the Rock
          • Harlot Church: An apostate church in Rome will persecute believers.
          • Russia, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Turkey, and possibly Syria will war against Israel but will lose. (This possibly might happen after the halfway point.)
        • Halfway into the Great Tribulation (for 3.5 years), the Antichrist blasphemes God, breaks peace treaty with Jews, attacks Jews and Christians, and desecrates the rebuilt Jewish temple (Daniel 9:27).
          • Israel will start to recognize Jesus as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).

          • End of the Great Tribulation
            • 7 Trumpet Judgments: 1/3 of vegetation burned; 1/3 of the sea will turn to blood, killing 1/3 of sea creatures and destroying 1/3 of ships; 1/3 of fresh water will be contaminated; 1/3 of the sun, moon, and stars will be darkened; locusts will torture people for 5 months; and an army will destroy 1/3 of humanity
            • 7 Bowl Judgments: followers of the Antichrist will have sores; all the sea will turn to blood, killing the rest of sea creatures; all fresh water will turn to blood; the sun will heat up; the earth will be covered with darkness; the Euphrates River will dry up; a great earthquake will shake the earth; and there will be 100 pound hailstones
            • Satan will be freed for a short time to raise an army to try to take over Jerusalem.
            • The Second Coming: Jesus comes back to earth.
            • Armageddon: Jesus fights with His saints and angels against Satan and his followers and demons in a battle called Armageddon.
            • Satan and the Antichrist will be thrown into the lake of fire.
          • Believers will return to Israel and prepare for Jesus’ coming for 75 days.
          • Resurrection of Judgment: God will judge all alive non-believers.
          • Glorification: All believers who have died will be given new bodies.
          • Millennial Kingdom
            • Jesus Christ will start His 1000 year reign on earth (Zechariah 14:4,9).
            • The Curse will be lifted.
            • People will live for hundreds of years.
            • The believers who were martyred during the Great Tribulation will be given positions of leadership.
            • The Temple of God will be rebuilt with an unseen glory.
            • Satan will be released and gather a human army.
            • Jesus will destroy Satan’s army.
          • Final Judgment
            • Satan and his demons will be thrown into the lake of fire.
            • God will burn everything made of matter (II Peter 3:10).
          • God will create a New Heaven and a New Earth. The Trinity, the angels, and the saved will live in New Jerusalem, which will be 1500 miles in length and width. There won’t be oceans, sin, or death. We will be with God forever.
